What counts as a 'task' in Smart Workflows?
A task is consumed each time an individual action step in your workflow executes successfully. For example, if a workflow triggers on a Google Form submission, generates an invoice PDF, and sends a Slack alert, that equals 2 tasks. Triggers themselves are always 100% free!
Do workflow triggers count toward my monthly task limit?
No! Triggers (such as watching for a new Google Form response or Sheet row edit) are free and unlimited. Tasks are only counted for the downstream actions and integrations executed by your workflow.
What happens if I exceed my monthly task allowance?
Your active workflows will pause gracefully until your next monthly billing cycle resets, or until you choose to upgrade to a higher tier. We never charge surprise overage fees or auto-bill extra tasks.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Yes! Both Starter Pro and Business plans include a 14-day risk-free trial with full access to all premium connectors and unlimited workflow creation. No credit card is required to start on the Free tier.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time with a single click inside your billing portal. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle.
Do you offer discounts for non-profits, education, or annual billing?
Yes! Choosing annual billing saves you 20% compared to monthly billing on all paid tiers. We also offer an additional 30% lifetime discount for verified non-profit organizations, K-12 schools, and universities.
How secure is my data processed through Smart Workflows?
We prioritize enterprise-grade security. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.3, and integrations connect securely via official Google Workspace OAuth 2.0. We never store raw data payloads longer than your plan retention period and never sell your data.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and Google Pay. Invoicing and wire transfer options are available for annual Business plans.
Can I request a custom connector if my tool isn't listed?
Yes! You can connect any service with a public REST API using our Custom HTTP / Webhook node. If you need a dedicated pre-built connector, submit a request on our community board—we release new native connectors every two weeks.
What happens to my workflows if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel your paid plan, your workflows are safely preserved. Workflows within the Free Tier limits (up to 2 active workflows and 100 tasks/month) will continue executing normally.
