Merge Multiple Placeholders in a Certificate

Smart Certificates allows you to personalize certificates by merging multiple placeholders β€” dynamically replacing them with form response data, images, or AI-generated content.

What Are Placeholders?

Placeholders are tags you insert in your Google Slides template to represent dynamic content.
They are written inside double curly braces like {{Full Name}}, {{Score}}, or {{Certificate ID}}.

How to Merge Multiple Placeholders

Open the Smart Certificates add-on in your Google Form. 2. In the Certificate Settings tab, Navigate to the Placeholder Mapper. 3. Click the βž• button to add mappings for:

β€’ Text fields (e.g., {{Full Name}}, {{Course Title}})

β€’ Images (e.g., {{Photo}})

β€’ Date (e.g., {{Date}})

β€’ QR Codes (e.g., {{QR}})

β€’ AI Responses (e.g., {{Custom Summary}})

β€’ Each mapped field will be automatically replaced in the certificate template when it’s generated.
